Since 2022, Amaury Mulliez has been the Deputy Director of the Economic Diagnostics and Public Policy Department at AFD, where he supervises the team responsible for assessing country risk in countries where AFD operates. He is also a member of Proparco's Investment Advisory Committee.
Overview
Amaury Mulliez began his career in 1998 as a corporate credit analyst at Société Générale in Austria, before working as a consultant at BCG from 2000 to 2006, where he primarily worked in the infrastructure and financial services sectors.
In 2006, Amaury Mulliez joined Proparco as a Business Officer in the Equity and Investments division. From 2009 to 2013, he served as Proparco's Regional Representative in the Maghreb, before taking charge of the Banking and Financial Markets division at the Paris headquarters until March 2015. From April 2015 to August 2018, he was Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Proparco, then, from 2018 to 2022, he was Executive Director of Risk at AFD.
He graduated with a major in finance from the ESCP Business School in Paris and holds a DEA in philosophy from Paris IV.
